Fanfaretti is an independent magazine from Amsterdam, published once a year by Fanfaretti Studio. It was founded by designer and art director Angela Blumen and is edited together with editor-in-chief Laura Josephine O’Brien. Its fourth issue, CAKE! (June 2026), is all about cake – and STUDIO BERG is in it. For the feature „Joy and Jelly“, Angela Blumen met Friederike Delius at her favourite cake café, Latodolce in Berlin, and talked over Sicilian sweets and coffee.
The conversation goes back to where JELLO began: a gallery commission with flowers that turned into a flower-shaped volume, then into jelly-mould forms, and a deep dive into antique and vintage cake moulds. It covers CANDY, the first glass series made with glassblower Torsten Rötzsch, the stackable KNSTRKT ceramics, the birthday cakes of a childhood, the collective Matter of Course – and what comes next: glass tests inspired by American ice-cream moulds of the ’50s and ’60s, and lamps for CANDY and JELLO.
